Certifications & Compliance for Industrial Enclosure Hardware
Products supplied in accordance with recognised UK and international standards, including guidance from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Enclosure protection ratings are aligned with BS EN 60529 (Ingress Protection – IP Ratings), defining resistance to dust and water ingress for industrial applications.
Our quarter turn locks and enclosure hardware solutions are designed for outdoor use, with IP66-rated configurations tested under controlled conditions. IP ratings are defined by IEC 60529, where the first digit represents protection against solids and the second against liquids.
Materials used across our product range include:
• PA66 (Polyamide 66) – engineering-grade polymer for durability and insulation
• Zinc die-cast alloys – corrosion-resistant and cost-effective for industrial hardware
• AISI 304 stainless steel – standard corrosion-resistant grade
• AISI 316 stainless steel – enhanced corrosion resistance for harsh environments
Compliance with UK product regulations is supported through UKCA marking requirements, where applicable.
Environmental and material compliance includes:
• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) – limiting hazardous materials in components test report
• REACH Regulation – control of chemical substances within the supply chain test report
All tested and verified by SGS independent laboratory
Selected product ranges, including electronic locks and mechanical code locks, are manufactured under quality and environmental management systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Documentation, technical datasheets, and test reports (including IP ratings and material compliance) are available on request.
