This Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which products supplied by Factory Yard may be returned, refunded, or exchanged. We aim to ensure fair and transparent handling of returns in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Business Customers (B2B)

As a supplier of industrial hardware, the majority of our transactions are conducted on a business-to-business (B2B) basis. Returns from business customers are accepted at our discretion unless goods are faulty or not as described.

• Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery
• Items must be unused and in original condition
• Custom or special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless goods are defective

Consumer Customers (B2C)

If you are purchasing as an individual consumer, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.

• You must notify us within 14 days of delivery
• You then have a further 14 days to return the goods
• Items must be unused and in resalable condition

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods. Original delivery charges may be refunded where required by law.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are received damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

• We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate
• We may request photographic evidence
• Return shipping costs will be covered in such cases

Non-Returnable Items

• Custom-made or special-order products
• Used or installed items
• Items not returned in original condition

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to deduct any loss in value if goods are returned in a diminished condition.
